Welcome to Rainspring English Springer Spaniels

I'm Judi James, KPA-CTP, a professional dog trainer and AKC Judge. I am also an AKC Breeder of Merit dedicated to raising sound, healthy, well socialized and beautiful Springers.

I have multiple AKC champions and titlists in obedience, scent work, tricks, pet therapy, and more. I am a member of the English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association & the Willamette Valley ESSA .

A Furever Friend

The English Springer Spaniel has been known from the 1500s as the comfort dogs with a special aptitude for seeking out someone who is hurting and offering comfort with a paw, a nose, or a snuggle up against you.

I began transitioning to the European bloodlines several years ago when I met a fellow named Jackson who was not only a gentle soul with all he met but had a different coat and structure than I had seen recently in the show ring. I really wanted that type of English Springer Spaniel in my future as a breeder
